The Sorrel Family Cemetery is located off Hwy 182 between Baldwin and Jeanerette, LA near the St Mary Sugar Cooperative mill. Private property and not easy to find unless you know exactly where to look. In older records it is sometimes referred to as "Cemetery of Pellerin."
"Contamine" was used by several of the Sorrel men, but I do not know why. Found on baptism, marriage and death records at St Martin Church, written in their own hand, not by another.
Not sure about the relationship of "Joseph Contamine" who died in 1830 to Jacques Joseph, Antoine or Martial but obviously he was kin. He died about 4 years after Jacques Joseph and was some 25 years younger.
