I have the transcript of this will at my tree and there is no mention of a daughter named Patience. This may be a very crucial error if Patience is a proven daughter of John Hawkins who married Elizabeth Jones, since Elizabeth Jones' mother was named Patience. I have not yet pulled the original will or any probate papers for John Hawkins, so it is possible it is an error in the transcript, but my guess would be it is an another error in this news article. I also have not researched the Hawkins family thoroughly enough to know if Patience is a proven daughter of John and Eliabeth Jones Hawkins.
