Binxkitty is my cousin but she has the wrong John Crosby and I've mentioned it to her. She has the other names in our line correct, but not for John. She got the middle name Stanley from me because my mom told me that's what grandpa called his great grandfather, John Stanley Crosby. I know it's the wrong John for a fact because, you see, John and George left England abt: 1844 and stayed in, from what I've found, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Then when he became a man, he moved to Saginaw, Michigan, where he died. That one she is referring to died in England and married in England. I have George's obituary and some other papers I've found. I just don't know what county George was born in over in England which makes finding John difficult. I heard my grandfather say that John never moved to the USA. He stayed in Canada and died there somewhere. I'll check the other info out you found after you made the post regarding Binxkitty's find. Thanks for helping me so much and, yes, I have a paid subscription to ancestry.com. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with. I do find a lot of stuff, just not on John. He's a tough cookie.
