My Grandmother's little brother stated that my Grandfather's family was full blooded Indian. My Gfather told me when he was a little boy, there was a black tribe and a red tribe, and they would dance with the black tribe. The last of his uncles and aunts died in the early 90's so I never got the chance to ask any questions. Mulatto suppose to be half black and white. My daughter found a classification in census that states if you weren't fair you were not considered white. Therefore you would be put in a different class. I know that my gggrandmother on my gfather side was full blooded Indian, and she was always listed as black.
