I am Anna Catherine Oberry (no ').This is just a beginning for me, but my grandfather was born I know in Va. and I beleive it was Suffolk. He was sent to Georgia, Hawkinsville
His name was John Washington Oberry. He lived his life mostly in Macon Ga. In his later years his son my father GGeorge Glover Oberry moved him to Atlanta to take care of hhim. He died in Atlanta. I was three when he died. that would be around 1947. Don't know if James and John are brothers. My grandfather was probably born after the civil war.
