Sorry, no. There are just so many Archambault families and variations of spellings. Jacques Archambault was one of Quebec's first settlers and his descendents were very prolific!!! The last Archambault I can trace back to is Jean-Baptiste and his wife Marie Labelle OR Laysea Hebert.

Good luck!
Jason

Thanks for your time, responding to my message. I have found the names of Clarence's Parents. They were Augustus and Caroline Pratt. They are from Montreal, Quebec,Canada. I am doing more research. I do realize how prolific the decendants are, it is amazing, but also fun to do the research. Once again, thank, Della

Hi Jason,
Would you happen to have any Noel's in your Archambault line? I have a female Noel ancestor who married a Felix Archambeau. I only know an approximate birth year for the female; she was born around 1860. The female's name is unreadable in the records that I found. The family lived in the North Adams/Williamstown area, and the female's parents would have been Moses and Marguerite (or Maggie) Noel. Just a shot in the dark that there would be a connection. Thank you, Jolynn

Well Jason, it appears that you are my wifes cousin. Melania( Melana) is her Great Grandmother who married Everette Stafford. Did you know that Melana's son and Darcno's grandson is still with us. Not to mention the fact that before his brothers and sisters past on, we had them right down the history as best they knew it......and have the pictures to prove it. The 2 names of the mothers appears to be a step mother. Have photo's of Darcno with his sons and a photo of Darcno's Father and STEP mother. Have I got your attention yet! E-Mail me and perhaps we can catch up on the last...well..100 years or so. Respectfully yours, Scott Wolfram

I'm writing in response to your message about Malenia Stafford. She married Nathan Everett Stafford. Malenia is the correct spelling of her name, as i am named after her, and have also been to her grave in Florida Mass, and have also seen death records. She was my grandmother's grandmother. Her father was Darcus Shambo (orignally Archambeault, we assume) they came from the Upper Jay region of New York State. My dad remembers Malenia when he was a little boy. Her mother was 100% indian, making her at least half. Her mother's name was Esther Plankey (I've also seen Plantier).
My question to anyone who knows or is related some how, is what type of indian were they? My search for where exactly my name originates, is still going.
So yes, Scott Wolfram, you have my attention.... but i'm slightly confused on how this all ties together. There's a son of Malenia that is Darcus?? Or a grandson??
I'd love to hear more of what you know.

for Scott Wolfram

So Scott, I just re-read your posting. I am also Malenia's great-granddaughter, as is your wife. Who is your wife? And who is Malenia's son who is still alive? I've been trying to get so much information on my family, such as all this.... but have only run into deadends until now.
Please let me know all you know.
My email is welderchik@yahoo.com
Thanks!!
