Kathy, I have transcribed a list of all bounty arrivals in 1842 and matched these to the arrrival of ships, finding there was a perfect match of details. Francis and
Enoch Baulch both went to work for Thomas
Fletcher at Lake River. They were first class farm labourers on wages of 14 pounds + rations for the first year, 25 pounds for the second and thirty for the third. Thomas
Perham also went to work for
Fletcher and two of the group are listed as uneducated and one educated. I assume that the two Baulches were the uneducated pair. There character was described as very good.Charles went to work for John
Sinclair at Evandale. He was also a first class farm labourer and was employed at the same rate as his brothers. He is listed as not educated and his character very good. Perhaps you could contact me so that we can swap details and I can arrange to post you some things. My email is
