My Grandfather is Edward Solomon Bonney and his family is from New Mexico.His greatgrandfather or grandfather was Ramon Bonne (Bonney) whose first wife was Concepcion Padilla married in November of 1875 and had two sons Facundo and Roberto, both died in infancy. Ramon's second wife was Anastacia Lucero. With whom he had six children. They were Raphaelita,Ramon,Santiago,Solamon,Amatha,and Amelia.
I don't know if this is the same family you are looking for. Would be glad to give or receive any other info.

Reid an Billy the kids Name was William Henry McCarty born 1860 in New York a second son he had an older brother Joseph McCarty william died July 13, 1881 in Fort Sumner , New Mexico his father is Patrick Henry McCarty who died about the middle of the Civil War. His mother Catherine Ann Bonney born ? died 1874 she married again to William Antrim, thats where Henry took william as his first name he liked his new stepfather. Billy got into trouble in Texas an had to leave so he went to New Mexico and changed his name to William H. Bonney his mothers maiden name. hope this helps I'm a Bonney an a McCarty. Terry

Billy the Kid's real name was Henry McCarty, Catherine McCarty was not his mom, he was not born in New York, his cousin Joseph was younger than him, etc.

I am related to the Ramon Bonney and Anatacia Lucero Family. My grandmother's Francisca (Kika) married Santiago Bonney, their son. They had a single son named Santiago also. Santiago is living in Las Cruces. He has four children Jimmy, George, Randy and Mary Elizabeth.

My grandmother's brother, Guadalupe Santos Campos also married Amatha (Amada). They had a very large family of 14 children. If you want their name I will send them to you. Most of the children are now living in northern California and four have already died.

Anatacia also remarried sometime around 1920 to Serapio Neito. You can find her living in Santa Rosa, New Mexico in 1920 near her sons Santiago and Salomon, and Rafelita. Amelia (Emiliana) is shown living with her mother and step-father. Your grandfather name is also shown on this census as being 4 months old.

I am a GGGrandson of James Bonney, father to Ramon and GGrandfather of Amada.

I grew up in Watrous NM in the Lopez household, where Ramon's sister Ma. Cleofas Bonney Lopez resided.

There was a daughter from Conception. Her names was Lenore. She lived and married Laumbach. That is where our Laumbach cousins come from. Ramon left other family in Mora (there is a bunch of Bonney's there). I think Facundo lived to have one or two kids. I think Roberto did not.
