John Truscott born in Cornwall, England, married Beverly Mann born Cornwall, England. Son Thomas Truscott born 1796 - came to America, died 1849, married Margaret Glass of Kentucky. Son James Joseph Truscott born 1832 in Litchfield, Illinois, died 1928 married Eliza Jane Dickerson of Illinois, who died enroute to Texas and is buried at Russelville, Arkansas. Children: Thomas who married Arizona (called Zoney and Aunt Zona) his first wife, George, Estella (Stella), Adelaide (Addie), and Lucian.
Tom and Arizona daughter Mrs. Myda Truscott Bivins Thompson was living Amarillo Tx at the time the book was written in 1985. She was the widow of Gen. E. O. Thompson, Texas Railroad Commissioner for several years.
