I am researching the Zeimet name as well. My g g grandmother was Anna Catharina Zeimet daughter of Heinrich Zeimet and Anna Ewert. She was born October 28, 1818 in Muensbach, Grevenmacher, Luxembourg and married Peter Stemper. I am wondering if you have come across any of these names in your research? I spent some time looking at birth indexes for the Flaxweiler region of Luxembourg this past week and came across quite a few Zeimets. I believe it was a popular name in Luxembourg from the research I've done so far.
