This is the same Catherine. In addition to the marriage bond to Francis
Turner, where Catherine
Hardiman is a widow, I also have the 1861 Canada census. Francis
Turner is the head of the household in Halifax, where they married in 1860, and living there are a total of 3 males, 1 female - which accounts for Catherine's 2 boys from her first marriage. The birth records of children Ellen/Helen and Mary
Turner are on the
www.novascotiagenealogy.com website, indicating Catherine
Coolen as the mother which ties all this together. The 1871 Census has John and Henry (going by the name
Turner) and Ellen and Mary in addition to a few more children who I am currently researching.
