I'm looking for a marriage record of Michael Decker Roloson and Abigail E. Bale on Oct 1854, Sussex Co., probably Newton. This year isn't in your "heading", but do you know where I could find the record and obtain a copy?

Thanks!

Hello. In a quick search of the internet I found that Michael Roleson (age 24) was married to Abigail Bale (age 22) on October 25, 1854 by Thomas H. Smith. Both were residents of Lafayet, but were married in Newton. I would contact the Sussex County Court House to see if they have the record. Here is the information:

Sussex County Clerk
83 Spring Street, Suite 304
Newton, New Jersey 07860
Phone: (973) 579-0900
Fax: (973) 383-7493
Email: scclerk@nac.net

Good luck!

Do you have anything on Phillips/Philips? I've even seen it Phillups. Especially David or Owen, but any others also.

Thank you.

Looking for information on John Youngs, often records drop the "s" and show as "Young". Not sure was in Sussex county until after the Revolution. Possibly was in Warren county prior to the Revolution

The family names I think I have in Sussex at that time, are Dunn, Kays, and Hull. Maybe Fuller too, but I am not sure where they were then. I apologise for the list, but thank you so kindly for offering this up!

Are you looking for John Young who married Martha Hull? I have him as born 1753 in Hackettstown, and died 1830 in Sandyston. I come down through his daughter Elizabeth who married Jesse Bell.
