My grandfathers name was Preston Cochran and I believe he had a brother named Sam. He was from Casey County Ky. His wifes name was Rosa. I am not sure of his parents names. I am just getting started on this. I know that someone has already done a lot of research on this and written a book called "Under the Lynn Tree" because of the connection between the Cochrans and the Lynns. I think this book will trace the Cochrans back as far as you want to go. I know that my uncle (Preston's son) has the book now. It is not in publication as it was done by one of relatives for the releatives. With the names that you mentioned,I remember seeing these. I have two brothers that are doing more research now.
