my great great great grandfather(Benedict Bach) deserted the kaisers elite gaurd.....left his castles and gold behind stowed away on a ship to America.......on the way he was married to Victoria Pfaff....the daughter of the kaiser's designer tailor...... her new name became Victoria Bock(not Bach).......this may be the Pfaff that Nancy is searching for....born 4/26/1845.....died seot, 1944 at age 99......
