Yes Levi was my great grand father His son Fred was my grandfather. i have been in touch with a relative from Lone pine where the family homestead is and she is doing some genealogy she may be able to help us when she returns from Flordia in a month. There is also a Painter reunion at Lone Pine on the fourth of July ever year.
