The Roome genealogy was published in 1883----that is 127 years ago ---in order to find a connection with your J. Floyd Roome , you would have to go back to J. Floyd `s ancester who was alive in 1883 ? You did not say when your
relatives 50th wedding anniversary party was ? nor the age of J. Floyd Roome , so I do not know how many generations you would have to go back ?
