Sue, I do not live in Louisiana. I am in a suburb of Dallas, TX. Almost all of my extended family live in Louisiana. My father's side is all from northen Louisiana, Webster, Claiborne, Red River, Bienville, and Natchitoches parishes.

His grandmother, Sallie Mae Lindsey b. 1891 is the daughter of Clifton H. Lindsey b. 1869 and Lilly May White, per SML's death record. They had 3 other daughters, Carrie b. 1894, Vivie b. 1895, & Neely b. 1898, per the 1900 Webster Parish Census. In 1910, Lilly and the girls were not listed and Clifton lived with his mother and is noted as a widow. In 1920, he is remarried to Vera White b. 1884 (per his death record) and living in Bienville Parish. Their children were Charles H b. 1919, Cleveland b. 1922, and Clyde Lindsey b. 1926. Vera later married Joel H Daugherty after Clifton's death.
