Homer Quillen of Scott County Virginia. There is a Quillen family reunion there in August of each year. Related to Congressman James H. Quillen from Tennessee. There is a book with info on the lineage of 3 Quillen brothers. The book is Mac Quillen families

Just found out about a Quillin Cemetary at the Antiock Church in Gate City, VA. Do you have an address available so that I could write to the church or the cemetary, etc. Have been looking for ancestors of Clement and Hannah Quillin for 10 years now. The Quillen (Quillin) family reunion is held at Antioch Church in August at Gate City Virginia. They do not have a phone number. Also, in the 50's was published the family history. The three brothers that settled in the Mocassin valley, Scott county, Virginia and their ancestors. They were from Scotland. The church is at Route 2, Gate City, Virginia 23241. Congressman James H. Quillen used to attend all the reunions. There is a parkway named for him in Kingsport, Sullivan, TN. 8 mmiles from Gate City, VA.

Hi, My name is Kimberly Quillen-Manny. My father was Leigh Matheson Quillen and his parents were L.M. and Ethyl Quillen. My brother John and I spoke with Kay Quillen Addison a few months ago. Her grandfather and my grandfather were brothers? I think thats right, anyway she told us of the reunions In Va in Aug every year, was wondering if anyone here on this board might be related to us and if anyone here is going this year.

Checked Gate City, Virginia, Clinchport, VA, Gray TN, and Kingsport TN no Manny's listed. We have a lot of Mann's in this area but not Manny. Sorry, I could not help.
