Janet-- I'm a descendant of Isaac Harriger Though his daughter Ida. I don't know much except that he had 18 children. Nine with each wife. As a child my grandmother took us to visit a Aunt Carrie I think this was Carrie Harriger Reinald. We do have some pictures since Ida married a photographer but they all don't have names on them. Also on one of the census Ida's sister Flora lived with them. I was told that since Isaac had such a large family a lot of them were farmed out to other relatives. I did find a old guest book from a funeral but no way to know whose or when but my guess it was either when my grandmothers parents or brother died which make it from the early 30's.Here's the names I know are HarrigersCal Harriger,Clair Harriger, Nelle and Amanda Ford.,Hetty Alker and Carrie Rynard. There's more names but I don't know if they're related or not. We're also related to the Heitzenrider's some how.--Thats about all I know for now==Myrna

Janet-- Recently recieved a copy of the 1870 census. Isaac Harriger (34)living in Ringgold Twp, Cool Spring ) with Elizabeth (29) and children Henry(14),Capius?(12),Calvin(10),Catherine(8)Lavina(6) Matilda( I think this is my g-grandmother Ida M Harriger Stanton since the year they were born are the same(1867) andGeorge Washington(1).At this time they were living next to Henry Minnich (59)(not known if this is Elizabeth's father or a Sibling) On the 1880 census he was married to Susannah so Elizabeth must have died sometime between 1870-1880. On the 1880 census Isaac (48) ,Susanah(29), Calvin(18) Mary(17),Alice(9) A Catherine this time listed as 8,then scratched out, Emma(11)Carrie(3) and Mabrey(1)? That's about all I know for now if you can add to it I'll be glad to hear from you---Myrna

Janet-- looking for info on Isaac Harriger and family. I'm the g-ganddaughter of Ida Harriger Stanton. Since on her death certificate her middle name is Matilda. I presume she's the Matilda listed on the pa, census with Issac and his first wife. According to Jean Harriger Isaac had a total of 17 children but they're hard to find since he farmed some of them out to live with other people. I do have some pictures of Ida, Amanda( Ford) and Clair and his wife. As. a teen I can remimber my grandmother taking use to visit here Aunt Carrie in Punxy. I'm pretty sure this was Carrie Rienold. One other question my grandmother's brother was married to a Hattie Norman is that any relation? Since he died young I didnt know of him let alone his wife, I don't think they had any children at least none were mentioned-- Myrna
