Dear Holly:
I am looking for a deaf uncle by the name of Otto James Donovich - I found out about him at a funeral several years ago at a family funeral - the state, at 1st, refused to admit he was there, but he has appeared on the 1930 Census - as a 6 yr old boy - it was the custom of the day to "put away" DEAF children, and they were considered mentally handicapped.
I have contacted libraries in area, they do not find his name (or so I am told over the phone) - do you have any info to help me?
Best regards,
rjeo
