I still live in Whitehaven in the home built by my great grandftaher in 1897 on land his father-in-law pruchaesd in 1890. I serve on the Board of Directors fro Edmondson Cemetery (just over the line in Desoto Co., MS) and we are looking into possibly reprinting the book, "Tales of Old Whitehaven" by Anna Leigh McCorkle. It was first published 1967 and we think there is enough interest in reprints to make it a good project benefiting the cemetery association. Miss Anna Leigh McCorkle is buried there along with many of the people mentioned in the book.
