My Bathsheba Cain was born April 6, 1829. This puts her at the wrong age for William or James. But I have located a Randolph Cain in the 1830 & 1840 Walker County Census Index. This puts him about right for a daughter in '29. He first entered Gov't land in 1837 in WC. as a neighbor to Jasper Riley Jones, the future husband of Bathsheba. My point? If you see a Randolph Cain, holler at me, will ya, huh? Thanks much. Ed
