It is possible that Theresa is the daughter of Anthony Ponard and Bridget Eagle. I believe their other children were Mary (my great grandmother), Anthony, Francis, James, and John. They resided at 97 Wentworth Ave. in Charleston. Anthony was a teamster in the Confederate artillery. His brother Darby was killed by a Yankee Parrott shell on his first day in America at Ft. Sumter on July 15, 1864. Anthony was born in Atheny, Ireland. His father James Poniard came to Ireland from France. There are several variations on the spelling of the last name.
