what version of VIRUS program are you using ???

I wonder if you might attempt to check if that might be the problem ?... I had the same problem ...I hope you are not GODly... but if I told you home many times I used some words with FTM2008. NOT SURE if I like the fact that everytime I open it up it goes ONLINE.

Look I feel for you ...

After doing somethings ... not sure all what I did ...but will have to try to recreate on another computer. I can now add new sources ... I have been working on my tree for 10 plus years and about 5000 plus names... and adding many sources....sometimes about 30 plus per name.

try to disable your VIRUS program. I believe the fact that the program has to go online might be an issue.
