How far back do you go with the MILES family? I don't know if you saw my post or not, but it was picked up by everyone but you. I have some info on the Line that I recently uncovered. Not much on Alexander but my wife is related thru Alexander's sister Vina Miles also a child of William Miles and Jane Scott. Possibly an illigitimate child of Jane because she went both by Vina Scott and Vina Miles. She later married a Samuel Miles, but I don't know who he was.
The family is really messed up, but the records I've got from an Indian Claim show Abraham Scott having a child named William Miles possibly illigitimately through his marriage to a MILES lady and then later marrying another woman and having Eli, Alfred, and Jane Scott who later married William Miles the son he had with this unknown MILES woman. I'd love to get the mess straightened out through affadavids and other records. I just recently uncovered this info on them.
