Yes, I am a descendant. My relation is as follows...

My grandfather was Allen Gaylor Ezell
His mother was Anna Elizabeth Katie Morton Ezell
Her mother was Naomi Katie Gaylor Morton
Her mother was Nancy Ann Poindexter Isbell Gaylor
Her mother was Catherine Cummings.

Below is the information I have on that lineage.

Levi Cummings m. Naomi Keas / Married June 11, 1798
John Keas m. Margaret Cockran

Was Naomi married to both Levi and Thomas? Or is this two different people?

I have always known there was a Turnage linkage, but was not sure what it was. Several years ago, I lived in MS. I lived the Holly Springs library and found a few listings of John Gaylor.

"469. Petition by Thomas T. Turnage and Naomi K. Turnage, his wife, John Gaylor and Ann P/T. Gaylor, his wife, Malachi C. Isbell, George W. Isbell, Mary Jane Isbell, by her guardian, and Elizabeth Isbell, by her guardian, for sale of land of the estate of Catherine Isbell, who departed this life on the 21st of September, 1852. April 1855. (Note: Drawing of the property in the town of Holly Springs shown on page 479)." Marshall Co. MS Records - Probate Court Vol. II 1855-1856 By: Betty C. Wiltshire.
