I thought of something else which I cannot prove. My mom who is 90 said that Daddy told a story about Milton winning the horse race in Cooke Co, and was later killed by some out laws.I think Milton and John ThomasII were pretty wild. Like I say,this is just here say. My gg grandfather John ThomasII died or disappeared around 1776 shortly after my g father was born.

You are right, Winky, I went back and read Thomas's will again. Milton was dead when he wrote his will, 1-28-1898.
The story about the outlaws may be true.I will tell you more if you are interested.
