Per info I have on Mary Jane Doughty's family she was born 1804. Her brother Edward was born 19 Mar 1807, was married in Hempstead, NY to Phebe Smith, they were living in Bloomington, Ill 1850 census. They moved to Louisville, Dunn, Wisconsin where he died 15 Mar 1880. I found where his mother Elizabeth also lived in Maxwell, Buffalo Co, Wisconsin and when died 15 May 1859 was buried Maxville, Buffalo Co, NYin May 1859.

Before I found where a Samuel Doughty and George Rhinehart lived near each other per NY census. Don't have a date for Samuel's death but must have been before her.

I found 2 George Rinehart's in 1860 Hemstead, NY census. The one was a Gentleman 59 years old, wife wife named Jane 55 yrs old, daughter Margaret 12, daughterr Jane 11 and a son George 8, which could be Azubah's family. Haven't found them for 1870 tho. Also found a Samuel 29 with wife Elizabeth 26, son George 4, and daugther Elizabeth 2 and a George Rinehart 26, with wife Parsilla 24, son Norris B Rinehart 3, sone Edward 5/12 mos and female Phebe Abrams 17. Could be brothers to Azubah also. Again don't find on 1870 census yet.

My grandmother said her family in NY had oyster beds. Wish I could find Ira's parents. Am still trying to get a copy of Azubah's will, maybe shed some light also.
