Hi Kooran. Many thanks for your reply. It is good to know that there is another copy of the family tree,as it is an important document. I am probably biased, as I am in it!!

what a great deal of information you have found. My greatgrandmother was Mary Matilda 1843 and I have her photo album from Chideock in Dorset with a few names and I will now look it outand see who I can find. I had never heard about the book. Thanks

Hello,

my late much loved mother's maiden name was Ironside. She was related to Field Marshall William Edmund Ironside and I have her family tree going back to 1636.

I would be most interested in hearing from any of her relatives, and would particularly like to know of any still living.

Your Gt Grandmother Mary Matilda had a brother Theodore(1847-1921)who was my Gt Grandfather....
Have whole tree on Genes Reunited.

Mary & Theodore's parents were Thomas(1816-1891) & Amy(Emma) Helyar, daughter of John Helyar the local baker in the village.... Chideock, Dorset.
I wonder which of Mary & William's eight children you are descended from.......

my great grandmother was Theodore's sister and their
parents were Thomas and Emma from Chideock.Thomas's
parents came from Long Bredy and his father was Thomas and his mother was called Hannah.
