Can you clarify "been missing from the family since 1969"?
Linda was only 18 years old when she got married, so it is possible she was missing her youth when she left. Did she leave for another man, if not, was she reported missing, has anyone (even her family members) heard from her in the last 40 years?

Also did Linda have any brothers or sisters? Do you have their names or the names of her parents?

My name's Mindy McKinder I think we've already spoke but I thought I'd try to help save you some time & clear a few names etc. for this seach.

Linda McKinder reffered to in this section happens is my mother. few quick facts:
-Linda R Whittington married Kurt McKinder (my father)
-Linda's mother is Rovida H. Whittington
-Linda's only two children Kristi &(myself) Mindy.
-Linda grew up and lived in Bakersfield.

In regards to McKinder- Sandy McKinder (my Aunt) has been tracing the McKinder Family Tree for some time. If you bump into her online- run it by her, she may have a piece to the puzzle.
