Thanks for your reply. Do you know of anyone with info re a George Moore family, Rootstown in the 1880s. Son Hatley b. 1872,Ohio. (Hatley moved to MI) Daughters of Geo were Sarah Rebecah b. 1858, m. Elbourne Gifford, Alice, Susan, Emily or Esther Moore. Also re a "John Hatley" family w 3 boys & girl, what relationship to George Moore family?
I have checked through online history of Portage Co., Ohio , but did not find either name. Geo was listed in the Portage Co. 1880 Census. I know Geo died in Rootstown, is buried there.
