Thanks so much for checking on my Hegartys. I'm so excited to think someone might know about my grandfather.
The great aunt that I mentioned is my grandmother's half sister, Susan. Susan is 101yrs. old, and lives in a nursing home in New York. Sharp as a tack though, she gave me the whole Frize history. Her father, or my greatgrandfather, was Columb Frize, married first to Una McDevitt from Derrora.. Together they had 12 children, then Una died giving birth. Columb then married a Susan Gallagher from Killamecrennan, and had another five children. Supposedly, Columb had two sheep farms. Oh well, thats enough.
