I've been working on my family history and from what I have I'm showing my Grandfather Nathanial Marler parents as Alfred Marler and Elizabeth Davis. I can't guarantee that is correct though. My Grandfather Nathanial was born in 1856 and died in 1926 per the death certificate I have. He married my Grandmother Callie Hughes in 1899. He had a son Joseph at the time who was my father's half brother. She was married to a Moore and a Taylor prior to that. She had a daughter Carrie by James Moore. I doubt if this is the same Callie you mentioned. She was born in Ducktown, Tenn. My Grandparents had 6 children which included the stepchildren.
