Rick: I'm not much help. I cannot even find my G. Grandfather, Joseph Ernstberger. His wife, Lena, is buried in my home town in Nebraska. He doesn't show up on the census and I have found no tax records. The marriage license for my Grandmother, Lena, spells the name "Ernstpreger," but the license from 1890 is written by the county clerk as I find the same handwriting on several other license forms.....There probably is some connection to the various Ernstbergers, etc., but finding it is the task. Sorry I can't offer more help.
