My father's genealogical research has our ancestor Edward, Jr. married to Sarah (Wildes) Bishop, not Bridget. (Apparently there were several Edward Bishops in Salem). Sarah was mentioned in his will. They were victims of the Puritan witching delusion and were accused in 1692, imprisoned for 37 weeks and redeemed by Samuel Bishop, son of Edward, Jr. and his first wife, Mary. Sarah Wildes Bishop's step mother was hanged as a witch.
