Circumventing "CENSORSHIP"

That has been discouraged. I did it anyway. I shouldn't HAVE to...nor should YOU...that isn't the answer.... World Connect needs to rethink their policies. If not, let them find users who AGREE with their policies...too many DON'T... I am waiting.

In reply to Dick, I too have received MANY requests to reinstate my ged.coms - I courteously reply that I will be glad to share that PART of my ged.com which pertains to their direct line. Unfortunately there are many who will never find their ancestor in a search. I will never have the opportunity to communicate with them. I have NEVER allowed a complete download or merging of my file, as it is my data - I don't feel I owe anyone my data in toto, as it does not apply to their entire line, and since it was my labor (and I might add, at my expense in both dollars and hundreds of thousands of man-hours) that compiled the data, I feel that by posting it on-line as a courtesy, available to all, I have been generous enough. I am always more than willing to share sources so as to make verification easier, although I don't always post all of this information on-line. Again, my choice. But if I am to be censored, and forced to succomb to the almighty Living Filter, my file will remain off-line. Period. Might I suggest you reconsider?
