Hi,Do you have any connetions to the Bell family in upper NY State?My mother inlaws name was Rita Mae Bell Her mothers & fathers name was Edwin & Hettie Bell.Edwin Was the widor of Albina & lived in Cooperstown,NY .On Feb.18,1873 he was appointed superintendent of Riverside Cemetary in Sciba,NY.The 1880 census lists Edwin as a blacksmith. his work can be seen on the old chapel at the Riverside cemetary.after his first wifes passing he married Hettie Long Ohara,Hettis was the wido of Abner Long & the sister of Nina O'Hara who married Edwin's son Artemus.Hettie is buried Next to her firs husband Abner in woodlawn Cemetyary in Sciba,NY.Edwin is buried next to his first wife in Albany Rulal Cemetary.Edwin & Hettie had 2 childern,Rita Mae Bell ( my mother inlaw) & Edwin Artemus Bell. Edwin A mareied Tillie Roda Of Cleveland ,Ohio.They had one child.I belive he was named after his fater as they called him JR. Rita married Harmond Dubois Mack.They had 7 children. Sanual,Howard,Helen,Gladas,Erwin,Carl,Marylin & Harmond
