I am beginning to think that Elizabeth Jane wife of Francis Perry St. John was a St. John before her marriage. Francis was born in USA about 1822 in USA. Elizabeth Jane was born in Ontario about 1830 according to the census records. There was a Stephen St. John born in USA married to an Elizabeth Bellinger also born in USA but they were living in Lincoln County having children in the 1820's. I have not found that Stephen St. John and Elizabeth Bellinger had a daughter named Elizabeth but they could have.
All of the marriages for the children of Francis Perry and Elizabeth Jane give the name Elizabeth St. John as the name of the mother and all of the death records give Elizabeth St. John as the name of the mother Perhaps they are right in naming the maiden name of the mother as Elizabeth St. John

Just maybe Francis St. John from USA came across the border and married a kin of sorts.

That is just an idea I have been floating around.
