I was looking through the 1880 census and found Jesse Conley and Sarah. In this census they have 8 children listed. 5 sons and 3 daughters. If you need any of the info let me know. James Conley b. 1833 married my cousin Christina King.
Christina's nephew Peter King Jr. was the only person executed in Monroe County to this day. He was convicted of murder which most think Ed Conley did. I believe Ed is James Edward Conley son of James and Christina. He was hanged in May 1879.
