I wonder about all the discrepancies in these dates. After your email, I looked through a long, long list of Eppersons & found Claude in the 1920 census. He was living w/ Billie. Here is the info:

This age for Claude would make him born around 1878 (this is the 1920 census). Can it get more confusing?
My sister-in-law, Leta Griffin Ambrose, told me tonight that she remembers Pebble and the other names. Her cousin, Marie Griffin Roberts, remembers even more of the family. I am sure they have photos as well.
Do you have access to my Griffin-Epperson-Blackwood family page? There are sources for a lot of the people. A lot of the problems w/ dates for the Eppersons has to do w/ the fact that there are successive generations (men) who have similar names: Harrison Henderson w/ Harrison T. as his father (& these names might not be exactly right). I am new w/ this, having worked only a few nights on Ancestry. Maybe we can find some things together. I had no death date for Maude. Oh, how sad that she died so young. I will get back with you later. Anne Griffin
