It is possible that it was my great-grandfather that came to Canada from Somerset, England. I was born in Haliburton to William Dummitt and Sylvia Johnson. I understand there was a very large family after the Dummitts arrived here. In the cemetery, there are Dummetts and Dummitts buried.
