If you wish to find any records on your ancestors, their offspring and all of everyone's siblings, you will need to know the place where your grandfather was born. Know the woj. is not enough. Church records are filed by the name of the parish. Civil records are filed in the gmina. These records after reaching the age of 100 are filed in the local state archives.
If you wish to find relatives, you will need to know the same things: village so you will need to know what church or gmina where you will need to write. Records are filed by religion, so you must know that also.
Tell us what you know, and we will guide you to the proper place.
