I have traced my Fewell family to William Fewell born in 1790 in Fauquier, Va. Descended down from William is Benjamin, his son Curry, then his son Shirley, and then my father in law Shirley, Jr. If you have any of these people in your family please contact at xshyone1@aol.com. My Fewell's started in Fauquier County, Culpepe, and Albemarle County.

Thanks Debbie

My husbands grandfathers name was Edward William Fewell (or William Edward...I cant remember). Everyone called him Edward or Eddie, so. He married a woman named Marie. They have several children. Barbara Caudill(Fewell), Darlene Meyers(Fewell), Mike Fewell, Mark Fewell, Deborah Fewell (not sure if she ever married), and I think thats it. I will try to look a little more into it. Unfortunately, I have been married to my husband for over 2 years and still don't know all his family :). Mark Fewell (my husbands father) married Kimberly Heflin and they had my husband, Mark Edward Fewell II, and his sister Brittney Hoffman(Fewell).

I will look into this more! I am very interested to see where his family derived from. They are not big "family" people so..I think Im on my own with this one :)

My name is Weldon Fewell. I have 3 names of men who are possibly in my ancestry. I wonder if the following are names that you may have run across in your research:

Benjamin Fewell, Rockingham County, NC; Oct 21,1789
Peter Burton Fewell, Rockingham County, NC; 1816
James Fewell, Culpepper, VA; Feb 4, 1790

I have no idea if the dates relate to birth, death or something else.

Weldon, I do have a Benjamin Fewell born abt 1840 in Fauquier Virginia and has a father named William Fewell. However I was married to a Fewell. My father in law is the grandson of Curry W. Fewell. Let me know if this helps you.

I am Deborah Fewell and I was hoping that you would share your Fewell line with me. I have bits and pieces on that side of the family as I married into the Fewell family. You said you have all the way to Stephen Fewell. I only have the info I found on Ancestry and I don't have any documents except what I found on Ancestry. If you have photos can you share some also? My email is xshyone1@aol.com

Thanks,
Deborah

Deborah, look for the invite I have sent you via Ancestry. Please let me know if I need to correct anything. I have a very large tree and with a very large tree, there are lots of mistakes.
