I am a descendent of William Oscar Beckham of Loudoun County Virginia, married to 1. Frances Ellis 2. Mary Caldwell. I haven't been able to locate William in Virginia, but perhaps a legal case in Spotsylvania county will produce a lead. I don't know if you are interested in Southern Beckhams, but I'd be glad to share any information I have.
