For the past few years there has been a get together at the Hopewell cemetery for relation of George Gay as he is in my ancestry as well by my grandpa George McKinley. There is also a book available at one of the Museums along hwy 99 I don't remember the name but it's not hard to find; it's located North of Corvallis and south of McMinville. Hope this helps as I know people on our side are always looking for others with pieces of information to add to what we have. I just tried to look at English connection but wasn't successful as of yet. So I guess we are cousins of some sort.
