I live in Arizona City, AZ, about mid way between Phoenix and Tucson. My dad was Leonard E. Gwartney who was the son of Henry Calvin Gwartney (KS) and grandson of Ephriam "Doc" Gwartney (IN). Do you show any of these Gwartney's in your famiyl history?

Hi Don:
It's been quite awhile since I've communicated with you but I've made some headway in finding data relating to our grandfather's second family (including the children) via his wife, Lillie. Henry C even had a 3rd wife, I just learned yesterday. If you contact me with your current e-mail address I'll give you access to my Ancestry tree so you can see for yourself at your leisure.
Recently I found a third wife for my father, Leonard. The second was Mavis and the third was Bernice. I also learned that my father was buried in a paupers section of a cemetery in CO. Possibly he had no surviving "relative".
Included in the tree is a photo of Mary Jane Welch, who was the older sister of our grandmother, Nan Welch. Although our grandmother was married multiple times, she had no other children than those by Henry C Gwartney.
Hope to hear from you again.

I am a relative of Irma Whipple. Do you have documents supporting the marriage to Leonard Everett Gwartney in Colorado? I have posted photos of Irma into the public for sharing with everyone. I have data on three of her marriages but have not found proof of her marriage to Leonard. Can you provide any clarification?
