Your Aaron sure is a mystery. I found an index card to his death at the genealogical library. He was buried in
Calvary Cemetery. The LMFH is the funeral home that took care of the arrangements. In this case it was Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. As you can see by the index cards, there's the alternate spelling of
CantOR. I called L-M Funeral Home to see if I could get a copy of his funeral records and they "don't THINK that they have records dating that far back". I could tell she was not interested in looking. So, I called
Calvary Cemetery, who's always been helpful, and the lady there did find an index card to his death that shows he was buried in
Calvary. This index card then tells her which book to look in for the original record. Here's the twist...he was not in that book. So, she's going to do some double checking, etc. and make sure it wasn't a typo and call me back at the end of the week. Not to mention, I couldn't find an obituary or death notice in the newspapers.
You can see I found index cards on his parents who were buried in the Tahoma Cemetery. Aaron's sister, Ida Leon
Canter, who died at 18 months, is also buried in Tahoma Cemetery. I wonder why they are all buried in Tahoma and Aaron is off in
Calvary by himself?
