With regard to your inquiry, I have a book entitled "Daniel DeClark (De Klerck) of Tappan and His Descendants" contributed by George Olin Zabriskie to the NY Genealogical & Biographical Record V96,No.4 Oct. 1965. In it shows Jane De Clark b Dec. 15, 1834, died Nov. 14, 1861, bur. at Nanuet (Budke #2627). Md. John Wood. In 1876 he was living at Westg Middletown, NY (Blauvelt #4622). Jane Wood's parents were David De Clark, son of Cornelius De Clark b July 27, 1798, christened Aug 12, 1798 At Clarkstown. In 1850 (Fed Census) he was living in Clarkstown, a merchant. He died Jan 31, 1870, aged 71-6-4, bur. in the Nanuel Churchyard. (Budke @2625). His will dated Mar. 25, 1867, was probabted Mar 14, 1870 in Rockland Co. In it he mentioned (1) wife: Maria; (2) sons: James, Cornelius and Abram; (3) daughter Eliza; (4) children of deceased daughter Jane wife of John Wood; Edgar Wood and Anna Wood. The executors were sons James and Cornelius. Married June 30, 1827, Maria Demarest, daughter of Cornelius Demarest and Elizabeth Sarven. She was born May 2, 1805, christened May 23, 1805 at Clarkstown. She died Sept. 18, 1885, aged 80-4-16 buried at Nanuet (Budke #2626). Children of David DeClark and Maria Demarest: James, Cornelius, Jane, Abraham, David, David, Eliza.
