I have some Murray ancestors of Marion County GA (James Murray born late 1700s, father of Jane Murray born 1827). James had some slaves according to the 1850-1860 censuses, but I don't know details. He was also an elder of Phillippi Primitive Baptist Church in Marion/Schley counties GA. His brother John also had some slaves.
