Interesting to note that this was done without a notification that password controls had been implemented to protect trees from accidental deletion. I, for one, am glad to know that it is in place. A big Thank You to Ancestry staff for making this improvement. :D
My follow-up question would be: Are there remaining loopholes that would permit those with editorial privileges to perform deletions of whole trees? Tree owners should be fully informed of the scope of editorial privileges before granting such to tree editors. Perhaps the FAQs will be updated soon to enlighten all.
